Our Chief Justice here in the Philippines is experiencing an impeachment trial because of certain government and personal reasons. I am always interested in watching the trial whenever it is aired on television but Day 5 of the trial is kind of depressing because of the justices in the prosecution and defense section. They kept on arguing and they never gave each other a chance to finish their own statement which is, for me is kinda disrespectful and even senator judges noticed the debate between the two sections and that made the senators disappointed. Justice Cuevas and Arthur Lim even trended on Twitter because of what they acted on the trial. For me, a good lawyer respects his fellow lawyer and listens first before judging. I wish the trial won’t last for month.
